Creating Lists
Build and organize creator lists for your campaigns
Creating Lists
Lists are how you organize creators in Stormy. Whether you're planning a single campaign or managing an ongoing roster of partners, creating a list is the first step.
Creating a new list
- Navigate to Lists in the left sidebar.
- Click New List in the top-right corner.
- Enter a name for your list (e.g., "Summer Campaign 2026 — Fitness TikTok").
- Optionally, add a description to help your team understand the list's purpose.
- Click Create.

Your new list starts with a set of default columns: Name, Handle, Platform, Followers, Engagement Rate, Email, Status, and Notes. You can customize these at any time — see Custom Columns.
Name your lists descriptively. As your workspace accumulates lists over time, clear names like "Q2 2026 — Beauty YouTubers" are much easier to find than "Campaign List 3."
Adding creators to a list
There are several ways to populate a list with creators.
From Creator Discovery
The most common workflow is to find creators through Creator Discovery and add them directly:
- Run a search in Creator Discovery with your desired filters (platform, niche, follower range, engagement rate, etc.).
- Select one or more creators from the results using the checkboxes.
- Click Add to List in the action bar that appears.
- Choose an existing list or create a new one on the spot.

The creator's profile data — handle, platform, follower count, engagement metrics — is automatically synced to the list.
Importing from CSV
If you have creator data in a spreadsheet, you can import it directly:
- Open the list you want to import into.
- Click the ... menu in the top-right and select Import CSV.
- Upload your CSV file.
- Map your CSV columns to Stormy's list columns. The importer will auto-detect common column names (e.g., "username", "email", "instagram_handle").
- Review the preview and click Import.

The CSV importer supports up to 10,000 rows per import. For larger datasets, split your file into multiple batches or reach out to support for bulk import assistance.
Supported CSV formats:
| Column | Expected format | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Handle | @username or just username |
@fitness.guru |
| Platform | instagram, tiktok, youtube |
tiktok |
| Followers | Number (commas optional) | 125,000 |
| Valid email address | creator@email.com |
|
| Engagement Rate | Percentage (% optional) | 3.5% or 3.5 |
Manual entry
You can also add creators manually:
- Click Add Creator at the bottom of the list (or press
Enterin the last empty row). - Type the creator's handle and select the platform.
- Stormy will attempt to look up and auto-fill their profile data (followers, engagement rate, profile picture).
If you paste an Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube profile URL directly into the handle field, Stormy will automatically extract the username and platform.
List views
Table view
The default view is a spreadsheet-style table. Every column is visible, rows are creators, and you can scroll horizontally if you have many columns. The table header stays pinned at the top as you scroll.

Filtering
Click the Filter button above the table to narrow down which creators are shown. You can filter by any column:
- Platform — Show only Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other platforms.
- Followers — Set a minimum and/or maximum follower count.
- Engagement Rate — Filter by engagement range.
- Status — Filter by negotiation status (also available as tabs above the table).
- Tags — Show creators with specific tags.
- Email — Filter to creators with or without an email address.
- Custom columns — Any custom column you've added is also filterable.
Multiple filters can be combined. They work with AND logic — a creator must match all active filters to appear.
Use the status tabs above the table for quick one-click filtering by negotiation stage. The filter panel is better for combining multiple criteria.
Sorting
Click any column header to sort the list by that column. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. A small arrow icon indicates the current sort direction.
Common sorting strategies:
- Followers (descending) — Prioritize creators with the largest audiences.
- Engagement Rate (descending) — Find the most engaged communities.
- Status — Group creators by their current negotiation stage.
- Last Updated — See which creators were recently modified.
Search
Use the search bar above the table to find specific creators by name or handle. The search is instant and filters results as you type.
Bulk operations
When you need to act on multiple creators at once, checkboxes make it fast.
Selecting creators
- Click the checkbox on individual rows to select specific creators.
- Click the checkbox in the column header to select all visible creators (respects any active filters).
- Hold Shift and click two checkboxes to select a range.
Available bulk actions
Once you have creators selected, an action bar appears above the table:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Change Status | Set the negotiation status for all selected creators |
| Add to List | Copy selected creators to another list |
| Move to List | Move selected creators (removes from current list) |
| Start Sequence | Enroll selected creators in an email outreach sequence |
| Find Emails | Run email discovery for selected creators |
| Add Tags | Apply one or more tags to all selected creators |
| Export CSV | Download selected creators as a CSV file |
| Remove | Remove selected creators from this list |

Remove deletes creators from the current list only. Their profile data, email threads, and history in other lists are preserved. However, any list-specific column data (notes, custom fields) will be lost for the removed creators.
Managing multiple lists
As your workspace grows, you'll likely maintain several lists. The Lists page shows all your lists with key stats:
- Total creators in each list
- Breakdown by status
- Last updated timestamp
- Team members who have edited the list
You can archive lists that are no longer active (they won't appear in the default view but can be restored), duplicate a list to use it as a template, or delete a list permanently.
Deleting a list removes the list and its custom column data. Creator profiles themselves are never deleted — they remain in your workspace and in any other lists they belong to.
