Manage your workspace, team members, and subscription
Team & Billing
Stormy is built for teams. Whether you are a solo marketer running campaigns for one brand or an agency managing dozens of clients, the Team & Billing section gives you the tools to organize your people, control access, and manage your subscription and usage.

Core concepts
Workspaces
A workspace is the top-level container for everything in Stormy. Each workspace has its own creators, lists, sequences, inbox, integrations, and billing. If you manage multiple brands or clients, create a separate workspace for each one — data is completely isolated between workspaces.
Every workspace is identified internally by a product_context_id, which ties all your resources together across the platform.

Team members
Each workspace can have multiple team members with different roles. You invite people by email, and they get access to everything within that workspace based on their assigned role.
Available roles:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to everything, including billing, team management, and workspace deletion |
| Admin | Full access to campaigns, lists, sequences, and integrations. Can invite and remove team members. Cannot modify billing or delete the workspace |
| Member | Can view and edit lists, creators, and sequences. Cannot manage integrations, team members, or billing |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all campaign data. Cannot make changes |
You can change a team member's role at any time from Settings > Team. Role changes take effect immediately.
Subscription plans
Your subscription determines how many credits you get each month, how many team members you can invite, and which features are available. Stormy offers plans for individuals, growing teams, and enterprises.

Credits
Credits are the currency that powers Stormy's usage-based features — email discovery, AI-powered search, agent actions, and more. Every plan includes a monthly credit allocation, and you can purchase additional credits if you need more.

How it all fits together
Here is a typical setup for a team using Stormy:
Workspace: "Acme Brand"
├── Owner: Sarah (manages billing, strategy)
├── Admin: James (runs campaigns, manages integrations)
├── Member: Lisa (builds lists, writes sequence emails)
├── Member: Tom (reviews inbox, handles creator responses)
└── Viewer: CEO (checks dashboards, read-only)
Everyone shares the same workspace data — lists, creators, sequences, and inbox. The owner manages the subscription and billing. Credits are pooled at the workspace level, so any team member's actions draw from the same balance.
If you are an agency managing multiple clients, the recommended setup is one workspace per client. Each workspace has its own subscription and credit balance, so client billing stays clean and separate.
Managing your team
Inviting team members
- Go to Settings > Team
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address and select a role
- They receive an email invitation with a link to join the workspace
Team member invitation modal with email input and role dropdown
Removing team members
- Go to Settings > Team
- Find the team member you want to remove
- Click the three-dot menu next to their name and select Remove from workspace
Removing a team member revokes their access immediately. Any sequences they created will continue running, and their data contributions (list edits, notes, etc.) are preserved. Removing a member does not delete any data.
Transferring ownership
If you need to transfer workspace ownership to another team member:
- Go to Settings > Team
- Click the three-dot menu next to the new owner's name
- Select Transfer Ownership
- Confirm the transfer
The previous owner is downgraded to Admin. A workspace can only have one owner at a time.
