Hi! I'm Sarah. As an elementary music educator, nothing makes me happier than when I can see things click for students- their smiles, their laughter, their success. And I love helping them get to that point, the point where they are making music independently and feeling awesome about it! I've been teaching in public schools for ten years, and my biggest takeaway has been that a focus on creating meaning in the music-making processes leads to greater success overall, not just in the end-goal. That means meaningful and fun literature, accessible music-making tools, and attention to the language and habits built in the music classroom.
