I'm a French-English full-time surrealist painter and illustrator who works primarily traditionally with water-based media such as watercolour, gouache, acrylic and ink. As many people like to repeatedly tell me, my art is "weird" and "probably not their thing", but hey, this channel has allowed me to find the people whom I am "the thing" of, so you know, I can't be doing it all wrong. This channel is mostly a way for me to share whatever art related nonsense I fancy, and while I did try to be all polished and presentable for a time, I think I have finally accepted I am more chaos than beauty, so my videos tend to vary between in-depth and thoughtful and probably a bit mad, and honestly, I rather like it that way. Do subscribe if you want, I'm sure you're a pleasure to have around (or if you're like me and you prefer silently lurking in the shadows, that's cool too). Although a native of Chicago, Erica has resided in Dublin Ireland with her two wonderful children (Tommy & Layla) and husband (Tom) for almost ten years now.
