Stories and crafts read aloud books helps children acquire early language skills. Reading aloud is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development. Among other things, reading aloud with Kid's Story Time will help build word-sound awareness in your children, a strong predictor of reading success. Decades of research shows that reading aloud to a child daily is one of the most important activities for his/her reading success. That goes for older kids, too. Kids who are read to have good vocabularies, write well, and do well overall in school (Hiebert, Scott, & Wilkinson, 1985 U. S. Department of Education meta-study of 10,000 studies). They’re also more likely to keep reading on their own. I hope you enjoy our read aloud story books!
